Talk vs Power

God is a God of power, not talk.

One of the things I taught my children - was never to complain.

Complaining often stems from bad moods or negative personality traits; it can also be a tool that helps people bond - regulating their emotions - and allowing them to be heard.

Excessive complaining can foster a sense of helplessness, and cultivate negative perspective on life.

As you listen to all that is in the media - especially when it comes to government failings, inflation, injustice, what is the result? Worry!

Similarly, when one does not feel well - and visits the doctor - and receives a specific verdict, what is the result? Worry!

I have a long history as one who has endured much - without allowing corrupt words from poisoning my spirit. As a result, I have overcome each challenge triumphantly. (Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.) This is how you guard your heart and protect your spirit.

When you announce your cares, you magnify them; but when you pronounce them, you render the final verdict over them. Proverbs 18:21 says, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."
You see, if you want victory over any area you suffer in, you must not talk about them, but give them over to the LORD!
I have learned how to trust fully in Jesus who is the author and finisher of my faith (Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.) This is the deed of faith. (Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.)

God bless,
Maria
