Run Down But Still Running

In these Last Days we are facing some difficult times. Fear, dread, hate and separation seems to be our accepted new normal. What is going on in the world today is most certainly impacting every human being on the planet - leaving us feeling completely run-down. God sees it all...

Isaiah 61:3 (Amplified - Classic) To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion—to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment [expressive] of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit—that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.

The Hudson Hornet is a full-sized automobile that was manufactured by Hudson Motor Car Company in Detroit, Michigan. The Hudson Motor Company produced vehicles from 1909 until 1954.

Hudson boasts a number of firsts for the auto industry; these included dual brakes, the use of dashboard oil-pressure and generator warning lights, and the first balanced crankshaft, which allowed the straight-six engine to work at a higher rotational speed while remaining smooth - developing more power for its size than lower-speed engines.

The Hudson was one of the first low-priced cars on the American market and sold 4,508 units in their first year! Their success drew the attention of their competitors...

During World War II (1942 -1945), the Federal government ordered Hudson to cease auto production to manufacture vehicles for them. Due to this, the Fisher Brothers (of GM) contemplated a takeover of the Hudson Corporation in 1944. It never materialized because their attempt invoked the Hudson's stock to flourish - allowing their company to be at the top once again!

The AMC knew all about the Hudson's value and desired to take it over because it was more prestigious and performed much better than their Cadillac. Even though their attempt didn't materialize, they didn't stop there... Big company's don't like competition. When they see that someone did or does something better, they feel the need to devise their own scheme to crush the competition.

In 1953, the Hudson Motor Car Company produced a Jet compact car and attached a high price to it. After the second year, the company ran into trouble. Eventually the HMC company merged with Nash-Kelvinator and continued to produce the Hudson vehicles - until the last Hudson rolled off the Kenosha assembly line (End of the Line '57) on June 25, 1957. Shortly thereafter, it was succeeded by the American Motors Corporation.

The Hudson Hornet is such a beautiful car. As a classic car enthusiast, I was taken back when I saw this run-down 1956 Hudson Hornet at a classic auto show I was at. (It was a tear-jerker.)

Seeing such a beautiful car in this condition really 'struck a chord' with me - it reminds me of what life is does to us. When we are negligent of ourselves and each-other, we run the risk of showing ourselves to be a "beat-up" product. When we feel beat-up, our minds tend to fall into a belief pattern - believing we are damaged-goods - beyond hope...

Right now, the human race is under attack by an elite system that is seeking to take us over by gaining full control over our every move, thought and emotion.

The system wants to merge human beings with technology and patent them as Humans2.0 - branded like cattle - owned and operated by the new world system. It makes me wonder if they are threatened by our good morale and fear the consequence once everyone knows what they really do...

God made us in His Own Image (as sovereign beings) so when you understand that, you learn that it is necessary to undermine the elite system. James 4:7 (KJV) says, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Resisting is the #1 way to overcome the elite plan. (Let that sink in!)

We have become a society that is bent on hate - camouflaged as love; self-interest in the form of an interest in others - it's as though we are completely "faking it".

We have gotten comfortable beating others down with harsh words and actions (separation) - leaving people with painful scars and unwilling to see their value. They are not acknowledging the value God placed on all of us. This is dangerous because it is here where we are captured...Hosea 4:6 (KJV) My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

When we lose our sense of belonging (to God) all we see is the rubbish, the rust, the ripped interior, the worn-out tires, the broken-down motor and the cost it would take to restore it all...

With all that heaviness, we weigh the cost - the work involved and how long it would take; then we estimate that we don't have the time and resources to repair it; so we walk away and give up on it.

God said in Philippians 4:13 (KJV) I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. We need to apply the strength HE supplies us with - not only to stand up to this New World System, but also to not fall for the media lies, fall into entrapment (fear or deep interest) or to get caught up in needless arguments (comments) that are all  based on a lie - no matter the news source...

God calls us to love out of a pure heart because He knows that when we are separate from Him, as well as each other, we are weakened and the enemy gets a foothold. "Ephesians 4:26-28 (KJV) Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: neither give place to the devil. Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth."

Our labour ought to be for the benefit of one-another. We need to be aware and recognize when those around us are in need - whether it's a physical need or a spiritual need. In Luke 19:10 Jesus said "For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost." We are His Representatives, so we need to be aware of the needs of others and extending our hearts to them.

Ephesians 3:17-19 (KJV) "That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God."

It is love out of a pure heart that sees the beauty underneath all the mileage life has put on us - the mileage we have placed on each other; and when we labour for one another, the Love of God grows within us. In fact, each time we extend our hearts toward someone, our heart grows. When we extend our heart to someone who has deeply wounded us, our heart grows the greatest because we are showing that person the very value God has given to - and lavished upon us; it's so great - we cannot contain it so we share it with others!

Isaiah 43:16,18 -19 (Amplified - Classic) says "Thus says the Lord, Who makes a way through the sea and a path through the mighty waters, Do not [earnestly] remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."

We cannot drive effectively looking backwards (using the rear view window as a windshield). Likewise, we cannot live effectively when we constantly recall our fears, doubts as well as the scars that life placed on us. We need to forgive and allow God's Love (a loving heart) to change our perspective. Only then will we see our ability to restore others that carry hurt. When we do, we will be able to keep our eyes fixed on the windshield - looking forward to the new thing God is doing in our lives. After all, God promises us Beauty for Ashes!

For the record - there's no such thing as "damaged goods" in the eyes of a loving God!

This 1952 Hudson Hornet 6 Twin-H Power sold for $1,265,000.00 in August 2018!

John 13:34-35 (Amplified - Classic) "I give you a new commandment: that you should love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too should love one another. By this, all [men] know that you are My disciples if you love one another [if you keep on showing love amongst yourselves].

We all have the resources to restore each other and to throw a wrench in the elite's plan. We may not be able to stop it altogether, but we can reduce the impact when we humble ourselves before the LORD " 2 Chronicles 12:12 And when he humbled himself, the wrath of the Lord turned from him, that he would not destroy him altogether: and also in Judah things went well."

We can do great things when we allow the love of God to flow through us!

God Bless,

Maria
